Ukraine War: How The Weather Could Hamper Russian Offensive
Professor Michael Clarke says a shift from winter to spring could hit Russia’s attempt to seize more territory in the south and east of Ukraine.
Russian forces have withdrawn from the Kyiv area and will likely be redistributed to the Mariupol and Donbas area once they have recovered.
But with the weather warming up, attempts to move heavy equipment like tanks around could prove difficult under soft ground.
